Project 1

Rural Dwelling.
This garden is very much claimed from the wild starting from scratch. An existing 6 metres high by 6 metres deep hedge at the boundary, a stream that floods the garden in heavy rain and building topsoil. By taking control of the hedge and creating decking on the flood plain the garden instantly doubled in size. With careful choice of plants I have harmonised the building with its surroundings.

Project 2

Horsham Town Garden.
Here it was important to make sure every inch of the garden was used. By creating different levels I have created different rooms giving a very small town garden the feeling of space.

Project 3

Country Estate.
This house and gardens were created within woodland. Everything has been formed from scratch giving the opportunity for the clients and myself to create living accommodation outside for entertaining and family fun.

Project 4

La Maison Secondaire.
Second homes are required to be locked up and left. Here I very much created an easy lawn for the maid to cut, striking pergolas for permanent structure and an abundance of low maintenance flowering shrubs with the soil permanently covered meaning weekends away are about breaking open a bottle as opposed to breaking your back!

Project 5

Earth Movement.
By moving 500 tonnes of soil this family country house then had the size of garden it deserved with different features throughout the space this garden developed into a pleasure for the large family that live there.

Project 6

Quirky Front Garden.
By using lots of different textures this has become a front garden that is always fresh and inviting when one comes home.

Project 7

Cottage Style
Here I have created a cottage style garden in a town garden. There is a mirror behind the metal gate which gives the feeling of additional space whilst helping to disguise the neighbours conservatory.

Project 8

Individual Decking
My client here was after a garden that was low to maintain whilst still having loads of interest. Areas for entertaining and relaxing are important here, hence the hot tub and water feature, and the Gazebo gives the garden a strong focal point and links in with the clients passion for oriental travel.

Project 9

Modern and Stylish
Here we have a modern, stylish garden created for a couple looking for an outdoor lounge, hot tub and al fresco dining space. The introduction of plum slate is used to define shapes and harmonise with the properties modern roof tiles.

Project 10

Formal Planting with Topiary
This is effectively a road island in an exclusive close that the residents have taken charge of. The formal planting and topiary gives the area a clean and fresh appearance whilst complimenting the quality of gardens in its surroundings.

Project 11

Natural Stone Heaven
My clients passion for geology was a strong influence here. Different types of natural stone and the introduction of clay bricks have helped to form a garden that is very gentle to the eye and easy to keep. A Water Feature, pebble mosaic and separate areas, really makes this an extension of the house

Project 12

A Hint of the Mediterranean
With careful use of small terracotta style stone, pebble mosaic, tumbling water and Cyprus trees,
this garden manages to maintain a healthy glow all year round and is a constant reminder of
romantic trips to the Mediterranean |
